Word Radicals does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account and no sign-in, and every lookup works without a network connection.
Word Radicals does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no login, no registration, and no user profiles.
We collect no personal information. The words you search for, save, or study never leave your device, and no advertising identifier or device identifier is collected or used.
So we can tell which parts of the app are worth improving, Word Radicals counts how often each feature is used - for example "a paradigm drill was started" or "the Study tab was opened" - and sends those daily totals to our own server.
A count per feature per day is the whole of it. There is no name, no account, and no device or advertising identifier attached; the totals from every copy of the app are added together, and nothing on the receiving end can tell one person's counts from another's. The words you search for, save, or study are never included - no word, root, or query is ever part of what is sent.
This is first-party only: the totals go to Sola Lumina's own server and are not shared with, sold to, or processed by anyone else. If the app is offline, the counts simply wait.
Word Radicals does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and nothing about your use of the app is shared with data brokers or other companies.
All etymology data is stored locally on your device. The anonymous feature counts above are the app's only network traffic, and nothing you are waiting for depends on it.
No personal data is collected from anyone, including children. The feature counts above identify nobody, of any age.
